Sunday Morning Bible Study (9:45-10:45 am)
- We have an age-graded Preschool Sunday School Program for ages birth through Kindergarten.
- We use the BaptistWay Press Early Childhood curriculum which is developmentally appropriate for preschoolers.
- A minimum of 2 teachers serve in each preschool class room, and a safety/security policy is in place and maintained.

Blueprint Workshop (5:00-6:30 pm)
- Older Preschoolers and Kindergarteners learn basic Bible concepts and Bible thoughts, and hear about Biblical characters and places.
- Snack supper is served each week by parent volunteers.
Music and Missions (5:45-6:30 pm)
Three-year-olds enjoy a time of learning through music experiences as well. While not a performance choir, they do occasionally sing during Wednesday evening prayer meeting and other events.
Joyful Singers (5:45-6:30 pm)
Preschoolers ages 4-Pre K learn to enjoy and play rhythm instruments, match pitch, count and clap notes, and sing simple songs. This choir sings for Prayer Meeting on Wednesday night several times during the year.
Mission Friends (6:30-7:15 pm)
Preschoolers ages 4- Pre K learn about mission work around the community, the state, the U.S.A., and the world. As we learn, we also pray and give to make missions come alive for the children. Snacks, games and songs from around the world bring excitement to this time of study.
Weekday Preschool: Weekday Preschool is a faith-based early education teaching ministry that nutures children (1 year - Pre-K) in mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional growth as they prepare for "Big School". FBC Weekday Preschool is a great place for early learning! For information contact Melissa Wood, Weekday Preschool Director, at the church office or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Parent Child Dedications: Each family with a young child is given the opportunity to dedicate themselves and their child to the Lord. These very special services are held during the morning worship service and are planned with the family. The church makes promises and the parents respond with promises of their own. Parents choose a "Life Verse" for the child which will be used many times during their growing years at the church.
Camp Blueprint: This year Camp Blueprint (formerly VBS) is June13-17, 2016! Volunteers with Preschool age children are placed in age graded classes. Camp Blueprint is open to the entire community for children ages four years old - 4th grade completed.
Pool Party: A summer tradition for the entire family! We swim, have supper, and fellowship.
Summer Fun Days: Preschool fun and fellowship during the summer.
HOW CAN I HELP?
Welcome Center: Take a turn welcoming families with young children to the Preschool area, giving directions and answering any questions they may have.
Volunteer to be a Teacher or Substitute Teacher: Teachers and substitute are always needed in the Preschool programs of the church.
Children's Worship Assistants: Every Sunday when the children leave the sanctuary to go to Children's Worship, we need one or two volunteers to go with us. We staff this position with parents and those who enjoy serving with children.
T.L.C. (Tender Loving Care) Volunteers: Every Sunday volunteers stay in the nursery and care for our youngest children during worship. We rely on parents, grandparents and other friends to staff this need.
If you would be willing to fill any of these positions or want to ask for additional information, please e-mail email@example.com.
First Baptist Church is committed to maintaining a safe environment for children and youth. Procedures are established for screening both paid staff and volunteers for all children and youth activities. Supervision standards are established for those who work and teach children and youth.
