A time for Preteens to claim "Upon this rock I build my Church!"  FBC wants your Preteen to say with boldness "FBC is MY church!"  We work hard during these preteen years to nurture a relationship with others, and with our church.

Connecting with others through relationships at church is vitally important to the faith development of Preteens.  Our preteens learn a lot about the love of God, a lot about themselves, and a lot about what it means to BE church together.  Preteens also have opportunties to lead in worship several times through out the year.  Being a Preteen at FBC is somethig evey child looks forward too!

  • Sunday Morning Bible Study (9:45-10:45 am)
The Preteen Division uses creative teaching and fellowship activities are being planned with the Preteen in mind.
  • Blueprint Workshop (5:00-6:30 pm)
On Sunday evenings during the school year we meet from 5:00 - 6:30 pm to have a good time while we challenge each other to; learn more about the Bible, to memorize Scripture, to be able to place people, places and events into a Biblical time-line, to understand the importance of the Bible in our personal lives, to learn of Baptist beliefs, great hymns of the church and our own church history. We do a lot of this with games and activities and also enjoy a snack supper with one another. We also prepare ourselves to lead in worship and missions.

Graded Choirs (5:45-6:30 pm) Preteens sing in the Children's Choir. For more information go to the music page. (Children on Mission) (6:30-7:15 pm)
Preteens have their own mission education group. They learn about missions in the US and around the world using various approaches and learn to pray for those involved in mission. They are also encouraged to give of themselves in missions.

Tuesday Morning Devotions (7:00-7:30 am during the school year)
We gather at Chick-Fil-A for a dutch treat breakfast during the school year.  We discuss relevant topics, and  have a time of prayer for one another.  We try to arrange car pools to school if needed.

Life Verses Preteens are encouraged to let their life verse help them as they struggle with preteen battles.
