First Baptist has a large group of senior adults who participate in all ministries of the church.
The Senior Adult Committee sponsors monthly outings and events that feature interesting programs and warm fellowship.
Day trips and short overnight trips are planned throughout the year and at least once a year the Committee plans an extended trip. Past destinations have included the Canadian Rockies, New England Fall Foliage, Yellowstone/Badlands, Canyonlands, Alaska, Nova Scotia, a European river cruise, Russia, Italy, France and more. Trips closer to home have included Savannah/Charleston, Branson, Nashville, Gulf Shores, Holland, Michigan's Tulip Festival, Niagara Falls and many more.

PHANTOM OF THE OPERA: Only one ticket remains! Join us as we enjoy the classic musical "The Phantom of the Opera: at the Fox Theatre on Thursday, October 23. We will depart the church at 10:15 a.m. and have an early lunch in Atlanta before the 1:00 p.m. show. Cost for the ticket and transportation is $85. Sign up with Karen Garrett in the church office. Your payment secures your reservation.
SAVANNAH/CHARLESTON: This trip is sold out. Call to add your name to the waiting list. November 4 through 7. We will enjoy a four-day/three night trip to Savannah and Charleston, where we will tour both cities, take a train from Savannah to Charleston, have time for shopping, have a harbor cruise and much more. Cost is $599 per person.
