Kenneth Moyers in the death of his wife, Mrs. Charley Jean Moyers, on August 31.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 3, at 12:00 noon at North Broad Baptist Church.  Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon  and one hour after the service at North Broad Baptist Church.

Joe Howell in the death of his father, Mr. Paul Howell, Jr., on August 28.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 4, at Fred Talley's Parkview Chapel. at 5:00 p.m.

Myra Hall on the birth of a great-grandson, Sidney Alexander Hall, on July 21 in San Antonio, Texas.  The parents are Technical Sargeant Sidney and Barbara Hall.  Lee Petusky is the great aunt.

Todd and Michelle Sparkman on the birth of twin daughters, Lyla James Sparkman and Mary Connor Sparkman, on August 10.  Lyla weighed 6 lbs. 3 oz. and Mary weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz.

Wally and Beryl Blad on the birth of a great-grandson, Cayden Scott Jeffries, on August 6 in Yukon, Oklahoma.  The parents are Kristen and Greg Jeffries and the grandparents are Tom and Patti Blad of Dallas, Texas.
