PRETEEN MINISTRY - 5TH AND 6TH GRADERS
Living in the land between THE ROCK and the hard places.
SUNDAY
SUNDAY SCHOOL
The Preteen Division has a new home. Major renovations have helped to create this special place just for them. New and creative teaching and fellowship activities are being planned with the Preteen in mind.
CONSTRUCTION CREW
On Sunday evenings during the school year we meet from 5:00 - 6:45 pm to have a good time while we challenge each other to; learn more about the Bible, to memorize Scripture, to be able to place people, places and events into a Biblical time-line, to understand the importance of the Bible in our personal lives, to learn of Baptist beliefs, great hymns of the church and our own church history. We do a lot of this with games and activities and also enjoy a snack supper with one another. We also prepare ourselves to lead in worship and missions.
BIBLE VERSES FOR EACH AGE
Bible Verses have been chosen for each age group from the "Building Blocks for Faith Development" . These are posted in each Sunday School room and teachers encourage the students to learn them through the year.
WEEKDAYS
Graded Choirs. Preteens sing in the Children's Choir. For more information go to the music page.
