Seminars

First Baptist Church offers a variety of seminars for adults of all ages. These meet on a rotating schedule, primarily on Wednesday and Sunday evenings. Most seminars will last five weeks. Some have fees attached to cover the cost of materials. Please contact Tamara Tillman, Minister of Education if you would like more information on these seminars.

The Life of Moses

Beginning with the Book of Exodus, this study will look at Moses, the law, and the birth of the Israelite nation. This class will be led by Dr. Joel Snider and will meet in the chapel beginning at 6:15 p.m.

March 10 - The Other Side of Sinai
The "chosen" people did not always act that way.

March 17 - Leviticus and Numbers
A brief look at the next two books of Moses.

March 24 - Deuteronomy
Before Moses departs the scene, he reminds the people of the law, one last time.

March 31 - The New Moses
Matthew portrays Jesus as the fulfillment of Moses. This lesson looks at how Jesus parallels, and exceeds, Moses.
