First Baptist has a large group of senior adults who participate in all ministries of the church.

The Senior Adult Committee sponsors monthly outings and events that feature interesting programs and warm fellowship.

Day trips and short overnight trips are planned throughout the year and at least once a year the Committee plans an extended trip.  Past destinations have included the Canadian Rockies, New England Fall Foliage,  Yellowstone/Badlands, Niagara Falls, Canyonlands, Alaska, Nova Scotia, and, this past summer a 16-day European river cruise. Trips closer to home have included Savannah/Charleston, Branson, Nashville, and Gulf Shores. In May we went to Holland, Michigan's Tulip Festival with lots of fun points from here to there.

SENIOR ADULT LUNCHEONS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES

The Senior Adult trip to Crossville, TN departing on Thursday, October 21 and returning on Friday, October 22 has been canceled due to the theater canceling the shows. We are working on planning another trip.  Please stay tuned.
