First Baptist has a large group of senior adults who participate in all ministries of the church.

The Senior Adult Committee sponsors monthly outings and events that feature interesting programs and warm fellowship.

Day trips and short overnight trips are planned throughout the year and at least once a year the Committee plans an extended trip.  Past destinations have included the Canadian Rockies, New England Fall Foliage,  Yellowstone/Badlands, Niagara Falls, Canyonlands, Alaska, Nova Scotia, a European river cruise, and last summer a 16-cruise from Moscow to St. Petersburg, Russia. Trips closer to home have included Savannah/Charleston, Branson, Nashville, Gulf Shores, Holland, Michigan's Tulip Festival and many more.

Senior Adult Christmas Luncheon

The Senior Adult Ministry will be having a Christmas Luncheon on Thursday, December 8 at 11:30 a.m. in the Dining Room.  Our Christmas meal will be prepared by Chef Greg and Shorter's a cappella men's ensemble will provide entertainment.  The cost of the meal is $10.  Sign up quickly by contacting Karen in the church office.

The Senior Adult Ministry will be traveling to Italy and Switzerland on April 9-21, 2012!  Sites include:  Rome, Vatican City, Naples, Isle of Capri, Pompeii, Sorrento, Florence, Pisa, Venice and Stressa.  An itinerary is available here or you can pick one up in the church office.
