What to Expect in Worship
Our Sunday worship bulletin is posted to this site each week.  Yout may download it here.

Additionally, here is a preview of what you can expect when you join us in person.

1. How we recognize guests.
There is a time in our worship service when we will welcome you; we will not, however, ask you to stand, raise your hand, or do anything which draws attention to you or makes you feel awkward. We would like to know you were here, however.  In your order of worship, you will find a card entitled "First Guest."  We hope you will trust us with your information by filling out the card and placing it in the offering plate or hand it to a minister as you leave.

2. When to stand.
To assist you in anticipating these times, we have marked them in the order of worship with an asterisk.

3. Moments with Children and Faith Development.
Most Sundays, we invite all children ages four through sixth grade are invited to come forward for "Moments with Children."  Following this time, children ages four through second grade will leave for Children's Worship. Older children should return to their seats. Parents should pick up their children on the second floor of the Education Building after worship.

Parts of the regular service marked with a cross have been identified by our ministerial staff as items that are particularly important in the faith development of our children and are included in our book "The Blueprint for Foundational Building Blocks of Faith." All church members, regardless of age, are encouraged to study and learn these items.

For more information about Moments with Children, Children's Church, or the Blueprint booklet, contact Priscilla Tunnell, our Minister of Faith Development.

4.  Lord's Supper.
We observe the ordinance of the Lord's Supper (communion) four or five Sunday mornings per year.  On those occasions, we invite all who call Jesus "Lord" and have followed Him in baptism to join us, even if you are a part of another Christian faith tradition.
